The St. Edward’s University Fine Arts Gallery is proud to present “A Prayer For Clean Water”, an exhibition of paintings, drawings, audio, animation, video, text, sculptural works, photographs, digital prints and New Media by Los Angeles-based visual artist Paul McLean. “A Prayer for Clean Water” will also feature the work of local and national artists from diverse creative disciplines, as well as a series of gallery talks.

“A Prayer For Clean Water” will run from November 11-December 2, 2005 with a reception on Friday, November 11, from 6-8 PM. Please see Page 2 of this Press Release to find out about new developments and an events listing for “A Prayer for Clean Water”.

The St. Edward’s University Fine Arts Gallery is located in the Fine Arts Center on the Northwest corner of the campus. Take the S. Congress entrance; turn left into the first parking lot. The gallery is located just north of the parking lot.

Tuesday, November 15: Paul McLean will initiate the “Fluid Hang”, a daily artist practice involving the evaluation and modification of the exhibit contents in the SEU Fine Arts Gallery

Thursday, November 17: Gallery Talk by Paul McLean - “What Is Art?” - 9 AM) in the SEU Fine Arts Gallery

Monday, November 21: “The Overflow Show” at Pump Project, Shady Tree Studios; Paul McLean will install works “overflowing” from the SEU exhibit at Shady Tree Studios, augmenting previously displayed pieces with related works and materials; Reception on Saturday, November 26.
