Paul McLean has been involved with fine art applications on the web since 1991. Influences & teachers include Jennifer Neiderst,
Stephen Miller (MKZDK), Studio X, Donald Ashworth Cox 3, Ellen Rudick and Garth Williams. Since 2001, McLean has hosted
artforhumans.com as a nexus for multidisciplinary, multifaceted, international 4D art production. Most recently McLean executed
a cycle of ten online exhibits plus one project, entitled “HUM 10 + 1,” which migrated into realspace at ART FOR HUMANS
GALLERY CHINATOWN. His digital artwork has been included in Rhizome’s ArtBase at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in
Manhattan & was recently included in Perpetual Art Machine’s expo at Scope Miami & Art Basel Miami (2006).
Shane Kennedy has been the webmaster at artforhumans.com since 2001, and since 2005, Nashville-based programmer Greg
Thornton has contributed to several creative projects and to the overall structural and graphic design of the AFH site.
